Dr. Claire St. Peter is a Professor of Psychology and the Coordinator of the Behavior Analysis program area at West Virginia University. She is the Editor-in-Chief for Education and Treatment of Children and currently serves the editorial boards of the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis, the Journal of the Experimental Analysis of Behavior, and the Journal of Behavioral Education. Dr. St. Peter’s research focuses on developing assessments and interventions for challenging behavior, evaluating naturalistic conditions of intervention implementation, and disseminating behavioral approaches. When not enthralled in research, she is an avid equestrian who does distance-riding competitions on her Arabian mare and hacks out on the trails with her three rescued horses. She has recently begun collaborations with a local therapeutic riding organization that allow her to blend her research and personal interests.
