Meral Koldas, BCBA, is a PhD candidate at Queen’s University Belfast. She is from Turkiye. She completed her master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, at Bangor University, North Wales, UK. She has been working with individuals with ASDs for more than 10 years across Turkiye, North Wales and Northern Ireland. Her PhD thesis is researching the efficacy of online Verbal Behavior training for practitioners who are working with individuals with ASDs and other developmental disabilities.


She developed an online learning website for practitioners, teachers, therapists and others who work with children with ASD as an easy and convenient platform to learn more about Verbal Behavior and how this can help their clients develop necessary functional communication skills.


She is one of the recipients of the SABA international development grant, 2022. The project focused on implementation of VB approach procedures by special education teachers in public school settings in Turkiye.
