Association for Behavior Analysis International

The Association for Behavior Analysis International® (ABAI) is a nonprofit membership organization with the mission to contribute to the well-being of society by developing, enhancing, and supporting the growth and vitality of the science of behavior analysis through research, education, and practice.

Chapters

Affiliated chapters are membership organizations associated with ABAI through their interest in the dissemination and growth of behavior analysis. They are defined by a geographical boundary—city, state/province, region, or country. ABAI maintains a mutually beneficial relationship with chapters on six continents.
Affiliated chapters often hold conferences, sponsor lectures, and offer continuing education opportunities. Reduced ABAI membership and conference fees are available to members of affiliated chapters.

The growth of behavior analysis can be measured by the growth of chapters. ABAI's 97 affiliated chapters report having more than 31,000 members, nearly 20,000 in the United States and more than 11,000 outside it. Membership in ABAI affiliated chapters has doubled in the past 10 years.
