Dr. Martha Hübner, ABAI President and Dr. Ingunn Sandaker, ABAI International Program Chair, will welcome attendees to Kyoto, Japan and the Eighth International Conference. Their brief remarks will be followed by a celebration of Japanese culture featuring traditional Maiko (a Geiko who is in training) and Geiko (Geisha) performances in classical music, dance, games and conversation, including a sake serving and hors d’oeuvres. Enjoy a cash bar and partake in the opportunity to mingle with fellow attendees from around the world.
